The walls of first Bank are cracking in a fist of battle between the former MD Olabisi Onasanya and the current MD Adesola Adedutan.

The raging and timeless war has now spurned like elastic rubber reaching its final draw to a point where Olabisi has sworn never to forgive Adedutan.

The matter that led to it had began a few years after Olabisi stepped down as the managing director ushering in -a decision of the bank’s board – Adedutan as fitting replacement.

It is alleged that there were grey areas in the bank’s record, churning out questionable transactions under the supervision of Olabisi at the MD seat.

The bank, allegedly took this as a grave error and decided to hold onto Olabisi’s entitlement. Adeduntan allegedly favored the bank’s sanction, Olabisi is believed to be occupied with the idea that it was Adeduntan that was at the centre of everything to hunt him down.

Entitlement allegedly, being the right of Olabisi that was withheld, fermented the animosity to greater length. Olabisi is believed to have vowed to never forgive Adeduntan.

Is Olabisi in his right of unforgiveness? Is withholding his entitlement fair? Does it all appear like the situation between the two is blowing hot? This cursory squabble growing ferns and feather, one that is deserving of attention nonetheless is the politics of succession.

First, an unabashed engagement on the turns of event beguiles illusive imagery. And then, witnessing through the flits of sources as the fight between former MD and the new one unfold into a wild, uncontrollable emotions threatening to have no end.

Olabisi Onasanya has drawn the line indeed. The former MD of first bank looks set to take this dispute to the finish line.

This phase of rising tension within the bank has brokered two sides. Alarmingly, it is alledged that two factions exist in the bank, the one who supports the the current MD and the other who feels this was grave injustice against Olabisi.

It is believed that the former MD, still peppered, has refused to engage in any eye to eye conversation with Adeduntan. The tension remains a troubling fiasco within the bank. Sources have it that if the entitlement withheld is not reversed to Olabisi, there is absolutely no chance of reconciliation.
